An exploration in surface texture created using a single CNC toolpath with a ball end mill. The rounded tip of the bit forms a concave conical pattern that gives a tactile eeriness, reminiscent of octopus tentacles. It feels like something that could sit on Davy Jones’ desk or like a block of wooden Cheerios for the cereal lovers.
